We are a young sports organization founded in 2006. Our beginnings could be marked with visionary spirit and enthusiastic ideas; nevertheless, we managed to shape the iconography of the Association and grow into a colossal organization that transformed most of its visions into Projects.        

Since the moment it was founded and counted six founding clubs, Serbian Association for Recreation and Fitness has grown into an organization that today counts 93 members registered as citizens associations and engaged in organized and continuous forms of physical activity. We are especially proud that besides clubs from larger cities, clubs from smaller cities such as Ivanjica, Raska, Kosovska Mitrovica found interest in joining this organization.        

In April 2008 Serbian Association for Recreation and Fitness became a full member of European Fitness Centers Association (EFCA).

   By putting out feelers on tendencies of contemporary society and its need to systematize its flows, the Association clearly noticed a need to start with the application of the same model of complying needs within recreation frames and with interaction of clubs, government organizations, users. In the end, it was noticed that the existence of an expert association was more than necessary and its goal would be to represent common interests of clubs with government and local authorities and with other associations and business entities as well.
